Our Scope of Operation
In addition to his Fresno office, Jerry Tahajian maintains alliances and affiliations throughout California with attorneys and Certified Public Accountants to assist him as necessary. In addition, he offers private home, nursing home and hospital visits as may be needed by his individual clients.
Your First Visit
During your initial consultation, we will determine the legal issues involved and the scope of work required. We believe in establishing a close working relationship with you: you will be kept well-informed. This essential communication is facilitated by personal conferences, phone conversations, memoranda, and the regular distribution of personal file copies to the client.
Fees & Billing
Another goal is to give you a clear understanding of the billing process. Our fee structure is based on the time involved and the anticipated results.
The billing procedure is outlined to you at the initial conference. It is our policy to request an advance payment, known as a retainer, which will be credited against future charges. The retainer is set based on fees charged for similar matters. Often we can provide an estimate of the charges at the outset. In other cases we will explain just how such fees are to be determined. Matters are billed as completed, or on a monthly basis, whichever happens first.
